More About Equine Assisted OT

Equine-assisted OT blends evidence-based therapeutic techniques with the calming, intuitive presence of horses. Together, they create a powerful path toward emotional regulation, confidence, and functional growth. Through guided activities like grooming, leading, riding, and mindful interaction, clients strengthen motor skills, improve balance and coordination, and build meaningful social-emotional insight.

Horses respond to authenticity—not perfection—making them ideal partners for learning stress management, grounding, and self-awareness. For individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, sensory challenges, or burnout, equine-assisted OT offers a unique space where movement, connection, and healing naturally intertwine.

It’s therapy that doesn’t feel like therapy… and progress that lasts long after you step out of the arena.
